4th Working Workshop on Research Data Management in Modelling (RDiMOD’26)

Handling research data is an essential part of many projects. Models play a key role for both research itself and research data management. The consortium NFIDxCS is working to provide systematic and structured processes to obtain the information to build an infrastructure to handle research data not only for informatics in general but also specifically for the modelling field following FAIR priciples. Following previous editions of the workshop, this edition focuses on reflecting the role of models for research data management and advancing the discussion of research data management in the modelling community. The workshop includes paper presentations as well as interactive working sessions.

Virtues and Values in Conceptual Modeling (ViVa Models!’26)

System design and software development have increasingly influenced human lives, and with the rise of Artificial Intelligence (AI), incorporating human values and ethical responsibility into system design and conceptual modeling becomes critical. This workshop provides an interactive platform to explore value-based and ethical perspectives on conceptual modeling and requirements engineering.

Topics:

• Methods for incorporating human values into system development
• Application examples and experience reports for ethical modeling methods
• Conceptual integration of values and ethics into modeling
• Presentation of frameworks and/or method collections for value modeling
• Evaluation results for the application of value-oriented methods
• Application examples of concrete values in modeled systems

Frauen im Process Mining: Austausch, Inspiration & Empowerment

Studierende und junge Frauen im Berufsleben brauchen vor allem Rollenmodelle, die ihnen zeigen, dass sie in technischen und analytischen Bereichen genauso erfolgreich sein können wie ihre männlichen Kollegen. Wenn Frauen sich gegenseitig unterstützen, entsteht eine unglaubliche Energie im Austausch. Ideen werden geteilt, Erfahrungen weitergegeben und Motivation gestärkt.

Im Rahmen des Workshops finden Impulsvorträge statt und es gibt einen Raum zum fachlichen und persönlichen Austausch. Die Teilnahme ist kostenlos. Eine Anmeldung ist möglich über: agnes.koschmider@uni-bayreuth.de
