Welcome to Modellierung 2026
Welcome to the Modellierung Conference 2026, which will take place from March 9th to 12th 2026 at the University of Bayreuth.
The Modellierung conference is the central scientific event of the Querschnittsfachausschuss Modellierung (QFAM) of the German Informatics Society (GI). The modeling community has been meeting for more than twenty years and discussing modeling issues across the entire spectrum of computer science. These include fundamentals, methods, techniques, tools as well as domains and applications. Modeling is particularly important and relevant in the age of (generative) AI, as it enables an in-depth understanding of complex systems, which ensures robustness and reliability.
The main program is rounded off by workshops, a PhD symposium, a tool & demos session, an industry session and the EMISA 2026 workshop.
