Call for Workshops
In addition to the main scientific program, the workshops are an essential part of the conference program of the Modeling Conference. Workshops offer the opportunity to discuss topics from the context of modeling in depth. We welcome proposals for workshops with a submission and review process for contributions, as well as discussion workshops aimed at a joint examination of a specific topic and possibly a joint publication of the results.
If you want to host a workshop, please provide the following information via email to the organizers (robin.bergenthum@fernuni-hagen.de and Philipp.Zech@uibk.ac.at) until October 2, 2025:
- Workshop title (and acronym if applicable)
- Planned duration (half or full day)
- Workshop organizers
- Short description of the workshop: Motivation, topic and goals, relevance to Modeling Conference, addressed participant circle, history of the workshop (max. 2 pages)
- Possible members of the program committee resp. participants for the discussion
- Description of the submission and review process
Accepted workshops organize their own Call for Papers or Call for Participation and, if applicable, the associated review process. After their workshop proposal has been accepted, organizers are asked to set up a website to inform participants about the content, schedule, program committee, and the workshop in general. On the Modeling 2026 website, we will publish the short descriptions of the accepted workshops as well as a link to the workshop homepage. The contributions will be published as joint proceedings volume.
